Yulia Brodskaya tem 31 anos e tem sua carreira de artista vinculada com sua produção como ilustradora freelancer. Já produziu imagens para ilustrar artigos e capas de grandes revistas e marcas do mercado, como The New York Times Magazine, Hermés, Starbucks e Sephora. , nascido em 1983, é um artista de papel altamente considerada e ilustrador. desde 2004 passou a viver na Inglaterra, onde concluiu seus estudos na University of Hertfordshire, graduando-se como mestre na área de Artes, em Comunicações Gráficas. Durante o curso interessou-se por técnicas como tecido, origami e colagem. A partir de 2006 passou a dedicar-se quase que exclusivamente à técnica de recortar e colar pedaços coloridos de papel, cuidadosamente, como se pode ver no resultado, compondo imagens vibrantes e coloridas, carregadas de uma expressividade que remete aos artistas da vanguarda expressionista, como o alemão Edward Munch.

Yulia Brodskaya, born in 1983, is a highly regarded paper artist and illustrator. She uses two simple materials-paper and glue, and a simple technique that involves the placement of carefully cut and bent strips of paper -to make lush, vibrant, three-dimensional paper artworks.
Yulia Brodskaya started working as a graphic designer and illustrator in 2006, however quickly abandoned the computer programs in favour of paper art: "Paper always held a special fascination for me. I've tried many deferent methods and techniques of working with it, until I found the way that has turned out to be 'the one' for me: now I draw with paper instead of on it".
Soon after discovering her passion and unique style, Brodskaya has swiftly earned an international reputation for her innovative paper illustrations and was named the 'breakthrough star' of the 2009 by Creative review magazine. Her modern take on the paper craft practice has helped her build an impressive list of clients in just a few short years, from Hermés to Starbucks to Godiva, Target, Sephora, The New York Times Magazine and many others (more than 100 projects over the 5 years).
She is frequently invited to speak at design conferences and design schools around the world: the talks include renowned Friends of St Bride Library Conference, Guardian's The art of Illustration masterclass.
The original artworks are owned by Oprah Winfrey, Ferrero, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Country Music Association and numerous private collectors.
